History

This home was the William Taylor residence. Now on the Historical Register, the home was lived in by the Taylor family for many years. William, born in New Jersey in 1813, was a master shoemaker and a farmer. He lived in the home with his wife, Agnes, and children, Enos, Leander, and Leona. Later, extended family came to live in the home.
