Family History
This was the home of Walter E. Liese and his wife, Phroso. The couple lived in the home with their children, Walter and Earnesta. Walter was part owner of Liese Lumber Company along with his brother Oscar. The company was founded by their father, Julius Liese. After living in this home for 50 years, Walter and Liese relocated to San Antonio, Texas.
It is odd that a lumberman would build a brick house.
