History

The home was built for Archibald Gill Pagan (1823-1857) in 1854 or 1855.  Archibald and his family, which consisted of wife Cicely Caroline Atkinson with whom he married in 1852, and children James and Mary, did not live here too long. Archibald died two or three years after the house was built. He was 33 years old.
