Family History

Harrington

Mary Rand Harrington (1848-1931), a 60 year-old widow, and her 40-year-old unmarried daughter May, rented this home for about a decade after the death of Mary’s husband. Mary’s husband, Dr. George Harrington (1844-1881) died at the young age of 37 while traveling in Minnesota. They family had previously lived in New Hampshire before Mary’s move to Illinois.
