Family History

Street addresses have changed since the turn of the century, but from what I can gather, the home was originally owned by the Wachendorfer family.  H. Wachendorfer was a blacksmith. He and his wife Annie, who was from Ireland, lived here with their children Charles, Mannie and Peter.

By 1920, it was owned by the oldest son Charles Wachendorfer and his wife Carrie. The couple had one son, Charles, Jr. Charles Senior was a conductor for the railroad.
