Church for sale. Built in 1888, this is the former First Presbyterian Church of Meade Center. The church was founded in 1885, incorporated in 1887, but the building wasn’t erected until 1888. It is said to be the oldest or second oldest building still standing in Meade. You see see by the archived photos below that not much around back then. In 2014, after many years of lying vacant, newcomer to town, Brian Van Pelt, purchased the church with plans to convert it into a home. Things changed.
