Family History
This was the home of James B. Walden and his wife Rachel Estelle Walden. The couple purchased the home in the late 1920s after their children were grown and had left the nest. Before his retirement, James was a manager at a saw mill. James died in 1948, but Rachel continued to live in the home until her death in 1968. She lived here for four decades.
