Family History
Silas Albert Buzzard 1894-1970), a train conductor, lived here with his wife, Lena Schwartz Buzzard (1899-1986). The couple married in 1918 and had five children, Lloyd, Silas, Robert, Virginia and Lena. Sadly, Llyod and Silas died in infancy. In 1948, the fire department was called to the home, but it proved to be only soot burning in the chimney with no damage.
