Joseph and Mary Shannon loved their home and lived here with their children, Helen, Mary, Olivia, Josephine, Joseph and Gertrude, for decades. Joseph was an engineer for the steam railroad. Sadly, Joseph Senior passed away in 1919 when the youngest child was just two years old.
