Family History
Mrs. Bessie Fears, an office secretary, owned this home in the 1940s. She used one of the three bedrooms to take care of her ailing sister, Margaret Prueitt Rusland, in Margaret’s dying days. Margaret’s husband, William Rusland, of Silver Silver, New Mexico, entrusted his sister-in-law to care for his wife so far away from home. The funeral was held in the home after the church service.
