This home was owned free and clear by Hewitt Marsh and his wife Ruth in the 1940s. Hewitt was a college graduate who owned a farm produce business. Ruth was quite a bit older than Hewitt, and the couple had no children. Hewitt was 33 and Ruth 45 when she passed away.
