Family History

Frank Miller purchased this house in the 1930 after his wife Josephine passed away. Frank, a foreman in a medicine factory, lived in the home with his son Kenneth Otto (1903-1969) and his wife Ruth Paules Miller until his death in 1937, at which point Kenneth inherited the home. Other than working as a clerk/delivery boy in 1940 with an annual salary of $520, farming was listed as Kenneth’s profession in 1960. With his income the couple maintained the beautiful house and Ruth often hosted social and church events in the home.

Kenneth died in 1969, and it appears that Ruth continued to live in the home until her death in 1985. The couple had no children.
