Family History
Richard and Rose Juergens built this home around 1918. Richard was an inspector at the rubber works, and Rose, a German immigrant, kept house for their lodgers, and later was a cafeteria worker. The couple never had children of their own but raised a foster daughter in the home in which they lived and loved for more than 40 years.
