Family History
In 1931, part of the property was used as Beck’s Bargain Store. Then in the 1930s to about 1970, the residence was a full house with the 12-member Fuller family. Ishmael and Christine Fuller lived here with their ten children, Wyland, Patricia, Lawrence, Beverly, Thomas, Rethea, Sherrie and three more. (Goodness, gracious, with only one bathroom! It was bad enough in my own family of nine with just two bathrooms.) Ishmael owned and operated the Fuller Funeral Home.
