Circa 1925 Kansas Fixer Upper Under $44K
OHU50K Notes $43,560
The Kansas four bedroom, 1.5 fixer upper needs plenty of work, not the least of which are new gutters, ceilings, plaster work, and cleanup from heavy smokers. It does, however, have an inviting front porch, lovely original front door, natural woodwork, central air and heat, and city water and sewer.

Family History
This home appears to almost always have been a rental. In the 1920s and 1930s, the Meyer family were long-term renters. Guy P. Meyers (1882-1968) was a manager Meyer Produce Company that he owned. It appears he owned a farm outside of town where he grew the produce. Guy married Mae Schellenberger in 1905, and the couple raised their children, Thelma and Philip in this home. Guy’s father, A.A. Meyer, also lived and died in the home.
