Family History
The widow Edna Stasjiewicz Pogorzelski (1888-1977) moved with her six children, Stella, Belle, Frank, Olga, Harry and Andrew, from the family home at 57 Genet St. to this home after her husband Joseph died in 1928. Joseph was in the grocery and meat business before his death at the age of 42. Edna was born in Poland but lived most of her life in Dunkirk. where she successfully raised her children. Harry became a dentist and served in WWII. Frank changed his last name to Pogor and was an ensign in the US> Navy during WWII. Edna lived in the home until her death in 1977 at the age of 89. She remained a widow for almost 50 years.

I just had a video showing with the Zillow realtor for this property. If only the person submitting the pics for a listing would include the actual present day photos. The pics you see above are from at least 6 years ago, maybe more. The present tenants are smokers who have lived there the past 5 1/2 years and have really not taken care of the place…or the landlord either. They even have a larger dog that they let defecate freely inside the house. Also needs a new roof.

What a shame. But more importantly, I am disgusted with realtor hi-jinks.
