OHU50K NOTES. $49,900 Sold For $45,000 on 7/15/22
Save this old fixer upper. Once the belle of the town, the Stick Victorian is now open to the elements as it suffered a fire in 2017. Firemen reported the fire was difficult to fight as the house had been broken up into separate apartments. They called it a total loss, but perhaps parts of it can be salvaged. The 3.43 acres and wonderful carriage house are certainly worthwhile.

Dr. Correl Davis Potter (1827-1893) owned this home. He was the son of a local state senator. Correl himself was a physician who also owned a drug store as well as a dye factory, and was appointed postmaster of Adams Center in 1861. He and Electra Ayers Potter (1828-1914) married around 1853. The had no children, but several of their young nieces and nephews lived with them for a time. The Potters were also involved in community activities and enjoyed travel to Europe.
