The mission-style Huron Tabernacle Church was dedicated in 1905 and served as a Methodist Church until 1975. The building remained vacant for many years until it was donated to Mary Hebert (a member of the Historic Preservation Commission) and the Carnegie non-profit after the absentee owners saw other preservation work done by Hebert put the building in “safe hands.
