The Lynch House was built for John Lynch (b.1847) and his wife Bridget Rafferty Lynch. John was an Irish immigrant who worked for the Elizabethtown Paducah Railroad. The couple was married in 1873 and lived in this home with their children, John Jr., Katie, Bridget and Maggie. The house was built by Ezra Jenkins.
