Old House Christmas Decorations From Two Coasts
One of my favorite things to do in December is to take walks around the neighborhood looking at the beautiful Christmas decorations homeowners have outside. Where my daughter lives on the West Coast, several towns along the harbors have thousands of lights and animated displays on festive, decorated homes, docks, decks, and boats. They even have “Best of” contests, boat cruises, boat parades, and kids sell hot chocolate along the waterfront sidewalks. (These properties are NOT for sale).

Old houses are especially beautiful when decorated for the holidays. On the East Coast, Cape May, New Jersey, transforms into a sparkling 1900’s Christmas village. Holiday decorations can really add some serious curb appeal to an old house, too. Here are some of my favorites from both coasts.
