c.1890 Fixer Upper on 1.5 Acres in Beaver, IA $35K
OHU50K NOTES
Here’s one I sure wouldn’t mind getting my hands on. It sits on 1.5 acres with a large garage opposite a white country church. With a new septic system installed in 2016, the fixer upper is awaiting restoration. Gorgeous woodwork, detailed cast iron radiators, built-ins, pocket door, arched doorways and hardwood floors grace the home. The varied roof lines, rusticated block porch with half pillars, and sunburst design facade add so much exterior interest. For those who appreciate small town living, low taxes and virtually no crime and low taxes, this property may be of interest.
Beaver Iowa
The town of Beaver, located in central Iowa, was laid out in 1879. It took its name from Beaver Creek, so named for all the beavers that were trapped there by the early pioneers. In the 1880s, Beaver had about 100 residents, two general stores, a barber shop, pool hall, two churches, a bank, two blacksmith shops, a school and three grain elevators. Today the population is 48 residents. The town has not much more than a post office, farm coopperative, and a smattering of houses.

Pretty much what I am looking for. Maybe a little more land.
