Family History

Joseph (1846-1934) and Seline (b.1851) Rashotte were immigrants who came from Canada in 1878. Sometime after that, they purchased a large amount of acreage along Saginaw Bay. According to the 1900 US Census, Joseph and Seline farmed the land with their children Michael, Dennis, Sophia, Moses, Peter and Besilice.
