OHU50K NOTES

Take a look at the Google Map street view and you may be rather impressed. The house sits on a knoll in a pretty setting with a view of the forested hills. A detached 2-car garage lies at the bottom of the knoll at street level, so no digging snow out a driveway.  If you are wondering about the town’s name, the community (pop 194) was named after a Mr. Hollsopple, the original owner of the site.

You are joking right ? Who wants a house where their garage is at the bottom of a hill ? Who would want to park in the garage and then have to go up and down dragging in groceries or parking at night and making the walk in the dark or in rainy or snowy weather ? The garage down hill does not add to the value of the house in anyway.

I guess you didn’t see the driveway that pulls right up to the house. Speaking from experience, anyone who lives in areas with large amounts of snow would love to have a garage at street level.
