I once dated a guy who had a composting toilet which was basically a 5 gallon bucket from home depot with a toilet seat attached. Next to it was a bucketful of Cedar wood shavings, and a scoop… to cover each poopoo or peepee with a little layer. He would empty it every few days in the flower garden and cover it with soil. It was not nasty and disgusting. It was simple And a great solution.
