Colonial Revival fixer upper

Save This Old c.1895 Colonial Revival Fixer Upper in Nebraska Under $180K

OHU50K Notes $179,900

Is that tower something, or what? This c.1895 Colonial Revival fixer upper has seen better days, but her better days still shine through. The unpainted woodwork, stunning staircase, pocket doors and fabulous fireplaces are waiting for a family to love them again, as did the original owners, the Woods. I wonder if that is the same stove that their servant girl, Inga, cooked on.
There is so much to love about this house, and I believe knowing the family history adds to its value, but still, with so much work to do, the price is too high.  Let’s hope the price gets reduced and someone with whom historic preservation matters comes to the rescue.
