John owned an auto dealership and lived here with his wife Mamie, son Thornton, and daughters Lula Northcott Imogin and Helen Northcott Jordan until his death in 1943. Helen appears have to have lived in the house until her death in 1972. The house is in such bad shape, could it be that Helen was the last inhabitant?
