Save This Old House – c.1900 Victorian Cottage in Fort Scott KS Under $8K ~ Off Market

Save this old house. My heart is wrenched by what has happened to this poor house. Apparently someone had the foresight to save the house and move it to its present location in 2013. I have included photos at the bottom of the post where you will see that the exterior was in much better condition then. No overgrowth or broken windows. After 2013, someone started to paint the pretty-in-pink house green, gave up less than half way through, and seemingly gave up on the house completely.

The interior is beautiful, even in its neglect and decay. It must be from my days investigating abandoned houses, but I am always drawn to crumbling walls and peeling paint. I yearn to take care of it as I would a sick child. I hope someone in closer proximity to the property feels the same about this one.
