Poor house. It looked pretty good in the 2016 Google Map street view. When you get past all the flakey paint, you will note the old farm sink, French doors, coffered ceilings, stone fireplace, plate rail and arched doorways.

History

Known as the A. E. Bush House, this two-story wood-frame structure was designed by Thomas & Harding and built in 1919.  It has a front gable roof and clapboard siding, and a single-story gabled porch with fieldstone columns. The gable ends boast a half-timbering effect typical of the Craftsman/Bungalow style. In 1982, the  Bush House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Family History

Aldridge E. Bush (1894-1953) and his wife, Ellastein. Aldridge was secretary and treasurer of Mosaic Templars. They had an adopted son, Clemmie.

    What in the world happen to this once beautiful house?? You can see the beauty that was once there. The coffered ceiling, the floor, doors and windows… I hope someone shows mercy on this place and makes it a home again.
