Save this old house. The fixer upper is a little scary. The neighborhood is good, taxes are low, and the exterior facade certainly has curb appeal, but the interior?

Obviously, the home needs a new roof, heating system, and except for the bedroom alcove, probably needs to be gutted. It is sad to see a house that had so much character degrade into what it is now.

Houses in the neighborhood go for two and three times what this home is asking, but still, with all of its issues, it may be too much to handle. Someone for whom money is no object would have to fall in love with it. What do you think?
