Johnston’s official welcome sign states that it is “Peach Capital of the World”. Always thought that was the state of Georgia. Well, anyway, this home could be as sweet as a peach with some work.
Highest and Best to be scheduled for Tuesday Sept. 28th by noon. Sellers to respond to offers on or before 5 p.m. on Sept 29th. Contracts must be cash, AS IS. Buyers may conduct home inspections from Tuesday. Sept 21, until time for offers to be in on the 28th of Sept, BEFORE OFFERS are SUBMITTED. Utilities will be on during this period. Sellers request $5, 000 earnest money submitted with offer to be held by selling agent or by closing attorney. Please schedule formal home inspections through listing office.
Approx 3500 sq. ft (plus outbuilding and large lot for $49, 500)!!! Estate executrix said Sell! So, get out your construction tools and turn this home back into the gem it once was. Measurements are approximate. Buyer to verify. Being sold strictly AS IS. Railroad is at far end of lot. Closing to be within 12 business days following contract ratification. If attorney needs more time to close, sellers agree to cooperate within reason. Time is of the essence.
SC produces more peaches than GA, so the GA is somewhat undeserved although it does produce a lot of peaches. This home is lovely on the outside, have not been inside. Johnston is home to many historic properties.
I’d love to see more photos of the other rooms in the home. I love the outside of the home, I would want more photographic info to make a decision if I’m interested. I don’t want to make a trip to SC unless I’m very interested and have more info to base that decision on.

As a native of Georgia, I would have to say they have the best tasting peaches by far.
