Family History
Lozenzo Dow Keener (1870-1952) had this home built for his family sometime between 1915 and 1920 per US Census records. In 1920 he owned a farm, but later went to work for the Standard-Coosa Thatcher Company, a textile corporation founded in 1891. Lozenzo married Willie Walker in 1900 when she was 14 and he was 30. The couple lived in the home with their children, Millie, Catia, Homer and Baby.
