Sweet Old Mississippi Handyman Special $50K ~ Sold
205 Wall St E, Osyka, MS 39657 $50,000 ~ Sold
OHU50K NOTES
This sweet old Mississippi handyman special is located on a sprawling half acre corner lot in the low-crime town of Osyka (pop. 440).
Osyka was first settled in the 1820s. Settlers flocked to the area in the 1850s when the New Orleans railway line terminus came to town. Many churches, residences and schools were founded at this time. One of the first settlers, Isaac Wesley Cutrer, is credited with designing the streets and planting trees along the avenues in 1855. Supposedly, our featured house today was built during this time period.
