UPDATE from the new owner Shawn:

I’m proud to say I’m the new owner of this home. I almost didn’t see this house – the MLS listing and photos failed to convey the home’s true potential. I’m happy to report that renovations began in late September, a little under one month after settlement. Renovations continue every week, with the hope of having everything complete by summer of 2022. So far the exterior has been cleaned and painted, the interior wood floors have been refinished, and the kitchen and baths are currently being restored. When all is said and done, this diamond in the rough will be beautiful! While not for the faint of heart, buying an old home can be a rewarding experience, as well as an affordable way into homeownership. ❤️ #HistoricGreenwichNJ

OHU50K NOTES

Having visited Greenwich often, I can say unequivocally that it is a charming town and a wonderful place to live. Our featured c.1795 home sits on Ye Greate Street, the Main Street of the village, where visitors often start their walking tour of the historic old homes. For boaters, two marinas offer water access to the Cohansey River and further on to the Delaware River. This is a unique house project for the true preservationist in probably the least changed colonial village of national significance on the eastern seaboard. As a bonus, the Delaware Bay is close by and Jersey Shore beaches are an hour away.
