    It’s actually very nice in that they left it pretty much as it was. I would have done something different with the woodstove surround and the bathroom tile, but that’s just me. I’d buy it!

    I think it needs more curb appeal. Maybe a porch or shutters… Landscaping definitely. I love the floors! Are the bottom stairs painted blue and the top green in the after picture? Hopefully it just appears that way on my screen.

    They were smart to open up the ceilings, that made a huge impact with added character. I agree with everything done on the interior but I find they left the exterior bland and boring. I personally thought the front of the house looked more appealing before.

    Needs REAL shutters. They ruined the floors with polyurethane, should have stayed with linseed oil. My parents fixed up an 1811 Colonial back in the 1960s, restored it to its original beauty. It’s been modernized since we left, it breaks my heart when people don’t think or care about the heritage they’ve been given.
