Under $100K Sunday ~ c.1874 WV Converted Barn Built by Civil War Hero ~ Off Market
2031 Rabel Mountain Rd, South Charleston, WV 25309
~ Off Market
OHU50K NOTES
How about a converted barn, built by a Civil War hero? The c.1874 barn has been fully updated and is ready for a new owner to enjoy.
I thought it would be easy to find information about the builder, Thomas Henry Griffith, but my investigoogling turned up little, if anything. I did find a Captain Thomas Griffith, a descendant of a distinguished family of soldiers and clergymen. Private Thomas Griffith of Pennsylvania (see photo below) is another possibility, but I am not sure if either is the same person who built this barn.
If anyone has information about the Thomas Henry Griffith who built this barn, I would love to hear about it.
