Per National Register of Historic Places: Highly developed and intact two-story Stick-Style frame house with numerous and varied millwork details including two-story open porch on south side, verge boards, trim, and panel work. Retains period fenestration plan with wood sash. Built ca.l880. Historic map references :1868: J.A.ZoUer (earlier house);1884 Sanborn shows this building;1905:Clark Shults. The ZoUersrana lumber mill and sash and blind factory that also produced other trims.The elaborate use of wood trims may have functioned as a show piece for what the Zoller mill could do.
