OHU50K NOTES
I don’t know why, but considering the low price, I wasn’t expecting the interior to be such a showstopper. The staircase certainly has the wow factor!
History
This was home of Hallie Sumwalt from the 1930s until her death in 1985 at the age of 94. Miss Sumwalt, a retired school teacher, never married. In addition to her role as a teacher, she was a co-owner and operator of the McCray service station until 1962. Miss Sumwalt lived her entire life in Farmland and died in her home. After her death an estate auction was held in the home liquidating her possessions.
