Family History

This was the home of Daniel Kinnally (1833-1921), a farmer, and his wife, Catherine Gorman Kinnally (1842-1922). Married in 1861, the couple purchased the home sometime after 1910 and resided here with their unmarried adult children, Margaret, Helen and John.

After the death of Daniel and Catherine, John, now married, inherited the home and continued to share it with his spinster sisters. John was the owner of a flower shop at 103 E. Washington St. in Syracuse. He passed away in 1955 at the age of 74.

Kudos to John and the subsequent owners who left this beauty virtually unchanged over the decades.
