c.1909 Fixer Upper in Arizona Ghost Town $55K

OHU50K NOTES

This c.1909 extreme fixer upper is situated in an Arizona “ghost town,” but not in the way that term is usually used. Bisbee is actually (or supposedly) a town inhabited by a gaggle of ghosts. Five thousand residents, along with several spirits, live in the old mining town that has seen more than its fair share of tragedy. Many miners have met an untimely demise in the copper shafts over the decades leaving behind grief-stricken family, and locals and paranormal investigators believe these miners don’t want to leave their hometown.
The Copper Queen Hotel is said to have three resident ghosts, and a guest book invites lodgers to describe experiences.
Thirteen rooms are in the Bisbee Grand Hotel, and all of them are rumored to be haunted. Even a Mexican restaurant has a specter, albeit a friendly one.
As one of the most haunted towns in Arizona, the town offers ghost tours.
Our featured home is in really rough shape, but may be of interest to those who are into the paranormal.

Bisbee, AZ is a fantastic town to live in, as I had the wonderful opportunity to live there the summer of 2020. Due to the covid virus, many shops were briefly closed, and the ones that were open were following strict covid guidelines. However, it was still a wonderful place to live and take a self-guided walking tour throughout the streets. People are super friendly, weather in summer was pleasant, and there are many amenities within 30 minutes. (Sierra Vista and Douglas for extended shopping and healthcare, and Tombstone, along with many parks, for sight-seeing). Bisbee offers a grocery store, pharmacy, dollar stores, hardware store, auto parts and tire centers, medical clinic, and several delightful eateries. There is even a great coffee shop! Also, many art galleries. Probably the most interesting town I’ve ever lived in!

I’ve been to Bisbee quite a few times. I’m an avid vintage and antique collector. I’ve come across quite a few interesting finds in Bisbee. I believe a vintage travel trailer park called, The Shady Dell is not far from the town.. Tombstone is always interesting. Although, it has become a bit touristy after the two, popular movies that were made about it in the 1990s. Anyhow, I’ve always enjoyed my visits to Bisbee. It’s one of my favorite little towns in Arizona. Jerome in north central Arizona is my favorite.
