The Vallonia was an extremely popular model for Sears Mail-Order Homes.  First shown in the 1920 catalog, the company continued to offer the Craftsman style bungalow all the way up to their last Modern Home catalog in 1940. A couple of changes occurred over the years which are tell-tale signs of the build date range.  One original detail is the keystone block on the porch header above the front door. The keystone was featured on the Vallonia from 1920 to 1926, and you can see it on our c.1924 featured home.
