Family History

This was the home of Charles H. Christy and his wife, Ethel Zook Christy. Charles and Ethel married in 1904 and had three daughters, Helen, Ruth and Marion. Charles was paymaster for the Roy W. Christy Construction Company before his death at age 77 of a heart attack suffered in the home in March 1954. Three months later a wedding reception was held at the home for the couple’s grandson, Jerome Christy Wiffe and bride, Mary Jo Grammer.
