Victorian Charm! This large two-story home offers more of a traditional exterior design but offers all the charm of a true Victorian on the inside. Family History
Although the stated build dat is 1910, I found the house and its occupants in the 1900 US Census. William Hovey (1861-1937), prominent businessman and community affairs activist, married Florence Walton (1863-1952) in 1883. They raised their son Don here. Florence (aka May) loved to host guest at the home. After William passed away at home, it appears May continued to live in the home until her death. THat makes more than five decades that the Hovey family called this house home sweet home.
