OHU50K NOTES

Welcome to Under $100K Sunday.

Many of us might not have the funds to convert this Stone Carriage House into a home, but sometimes its fun just to daydream what we could do with a place.

This beautiful carriage house is on the 2.3 acre LeFevre estate and, as you can see by the photos, the interior needs everything. Apparently, the 18th-century log home that is also on the property (see below) has been donated and is moving to Historic Hanna’s Town, a 180-acre historic site home to several log houses, a wagon shed and other buildings owned by Westmoreland County.

The 2.3 acres that is included with the carriage house and gazebo for under $100k was originally owned by the Myers family in the mid-17th century.

REALTOR COMMENTS

This Incredible Stone Carriage Garage was constructed from Tuscan craftsman that came from Italy. The solid wood double garage door came from a prison in South Carolina. Also included is the stone spring house and gazebo. The Garage was always known for its sturdiness. At one time horses were kept in the bottom part of the garage. You will never see anything like this. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE LOG HOME. IT IS BEING MOVED TO HANNASTOWN.
