In the 1980s we owned a 15-acre hobby farm in the next town over from Richmondville in Cobleskill. I was a teacher at HeadStart and had to drive the bus on occasion. I recall dropping off a child at the house next door to this one.

The surrounding area is gorgeous, SUNY Cobleskill is just down the road, and Interstate 88 is a straight run to jobs in the Schenectady/Albany/Troy area where my sister and her family live.
