Sadly, this c.1860 Victorian is a foreclosure owned by Chase Bank. Apparently, this is not the first time this home has been in foreclosure. According to GIS records, it appears it went into the banks’ hands in 2004, 2008 and 2009 also. Jobs must be scarce in these parts. The home is beautiful, though. It backs up to a field and is a stone’s throw from “downtown” Leonidas  (pop. 1,239). I love the stone porch pillars, and the imbricated shingles and sunburst design in the gables. Fantastic natural woodwork, hardwood floors, fireplace and beautiful staircase grace the interior.
