c.1894 Victorian Home For Sale in Waterloo, IA Under $54K
This was the home of Frank Stull (1869-1942), a machinist, and his wife Ethelyn Goodwin Stull (1870-1945) from the 1910s until 1945. They lived here with their daughter Aletha. Frank liked to attend Bible classes, and he supplemented the family income by renting a room out to lodgers. Mrs. Stull was the press correspondent for the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War auxiliary and her husband was the head officer.
The third floor balcony of the Stull house is amazing. I can imagine Aletha reading “Little Women” up there. The staircase, woodwork, stained glass, and hardwood floors are enviable details as well.
