Family History
In the 1920s and ’30s this was the home of Earl Weber, and office clerk for a lumber company, and his wife Maude. They lived here with their children Dorothy, Russell, Floyd and Jack. It was valued at $5,000 per the 1930 US Census. By the 1950s and to the 1970s, Dr. Samuel Richard Beatty (1903-1978) and his wife, Meredith Batty Beatty owned the home. They lived here with their daughters, Janice, Margaret and Barbara. In 1964 a major house fire occurred in an upstairs bedroom. In 2005, the home was on the market for $169,900.
