    Love the house, but WHY the monstrously ugly, unsuited modern stack stone fireplace . Why open the space up, then leave the fireplace to block that “open floor plan”?

    Agreed about the stacked stone. If they wanted to open up the room like this, antiqued brick would have at least given it some “age”.

    Love old houses, I drive by this house all the time, always wondered what it looked like on the inside….was happily surprised to see it on your site.

    Why would you paint over all the old wood work? It would cost to much to by this and restore it to a descent condition.
