OHU50K NOTES

Located in the birthplace of Little League Baseball, this pretty in pink Victorian was built in 1901. It most likely was a superintendent’s house for the old Lycoming Rubber Company factory across the street. When our featured home was built, the factory was the largest Keds footwear manufacturer in the country. At its peak, the company employed 3,000 workers with 70% women, but by the 1920s production was decreasing and the company moved to Connecticut.
