    Question ~ I have noticed that a lot of old Victorian houses have another door right by the front door, like in the front of this house. Do you know ‘why’ they made them this way….what the reasoning was? This house is definitely worth saving too! 🙂

    The predominant thought is that one entrance was for everyday family functions, and the other was the entrance for the more formal area of the house, primarily used for guests. Two doors then were considered a symbol of prosperity.
